Things we won't do
We will not retain any of our charge if commission is clawed back.
In our view you are running a business with all the attendant risks
that running a business entails. We feel that a network is also
a business with similar risks.
We will not restrict your ability to offer your clients any discount
you feel is appropriate. You will not need any prior approval from
us. After all they are your clients and it is your business. You
need to make the decisions that are right for your business. We
will of course base our fee on the discounted value of the commission.
We will not base it on the full commission. However, we do stipulate
that all of the discount has to be passed to your client.
Remember we will not take a charge on renewal commission
(including trail and fund based commission).
Whatever we receive on your behalf is sent to you without any deduction.
This continues ad-infinitum to you in retirement and even on death.
No-one likes to think of these things but it is important that you
know your future earnings are being passed on to your named beneficiary.
We are vehemently independent. Generally, we will not restrict
you to any choice of provider, club, lender, software house, etc.
- these are all decisions that you have in running a business. You
will definitely NOT see a recommended list produced of providers!
IT Software
Similarly, we do not believe in demanding members or associates
use a particular type of software or system. We feel you should
be free to choose your own IT package to suit your own particular
business.
However, to assist your decision making process, and to ensure
you get the benefits of scale from your membership, we have secured
special concessionary rates with some software providers in areas
such as research, back office and front office systems.
