Competitive costs and commissions

Whitechurch offers a very competitive and simple charging structure, with firms saving significantly on the fees they may be paying elsewhere. We have an all encompassing fee shape aside the FSCS levy. As a result any monthly fee you pay includes FSA fees, FOS fees and even PI Insurance. Commission is then paid at 100% GROSS. On the commissions side, we also adopt an IFA friendly approach. For example, we do not retain any of our charge if commission is clawed back nor do we restrict your ability to offer your clients any discount you feel is appropriate.

Regulation can sometimes be a hard pill to swallow - it does not always come easy to advisers. For us it came relatively easy because we had a genuinely unique difference - the backing of Whitechurch Securities, the well established and respected IFA. Without an understanding of what it is to be an adviser, no one can ever really say that they understand what it means to be independent. Which is where the larger companies often fall down. Because of our heritage, we have the respect of our members and associates (directly regulated advisers), a true understanding of their needs, plus sensible communications.

A range of options to meet your needs

IFAs - In the current climate of increased regulation and greater accountability, more and more IFA’s recognise the value of compliance support. However, whilst some are looking for full network membership, others prefer to be directly authorised and buy use an external compliance support.
Mortgage Brokers - Recent regulation has also brought mortgage brokers into a regulated environment. For those firms too Whitechurch can provide support in either a network or support service capacity.

Independence

We pride ourselves on offering a 'no frills' approach and this helps us keep our cost base down. Firms joining from elsewhere say they prefer this approach. Other companies can start to make you un-independent. In some areas, product research has evolved to become a compulsion to use a recommended list, whilst IT support has become a compulsion to use some sort of back office or front office software. At Whitechurch, we do not prescribe a panel. It is your business, so whilst you have access to our research (via Whitechurch Securities), ultimately it is up to you to make the right choice for your client. We adopt the same approach with technology. Whilst we can offer special concessionary rates, we believe you should be free to choose the right IT package for your particular business.
